LEGAL

PRIVACY POLICY

How DORIC collects, uses and protects personal information when you use this website.

Information collected

We collect only the information needed to run the store and look after customers:

  • When you place an order: your name, billing and delivery address, email address, telephone number and the details of your order. The store also records the IP address and browser used to place the order.
  • When you create an account: your account details and saved addresses.
  • When you contact us: your name, email address, telephone number if given, the topic and your message.
  • How you arrived: when you place an order, the store records how you reached the website — for example a search engine or a link — and attaches it to the order.

Your wishlist is stored only in your own browser and is never sent to us.

How information is used

  • to process, deliver and support your orders, including returns and exchanges;
  • to reply to enquiries you send us;
  • to keep the website and your account secure and to prevent fraud;
  • to understand which channels bring customers to the store;
  • to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

The website uses cookies to keep your bag, your session and your sign-in working, and to record how you arrived at the store. The Cookie Policy lists them.

Payments

Payments are handled by the payment provider shown at checkout, which processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We do not store your full card details.

Analytics

This website does not currently use a third-party analytics service. This policy will be updated if that changes.

Third-party services

We share information only with the services needed to operate the store:

  • Delivery partners receive the name, address and telephone number needed to deliver your order.
  • Payment providers process the payment for your order under their own privacy policies.
  • Hosting and email providers store the website and deliver the emails it sends.
  • Google Fonts supplies the website's typefaces. To load them, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address.

Data security and retention

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Order records are kept for as long as our legal and accounting obligations require. Enquiries are kept for as long as they are needed to help you.

Your rights

Subject to the law that applies to you, you can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw any consent you have given. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
